Greetings all - i hope this blog post finds you well and enjoying the summer in the Northern Hemisphere and wint.........oh, you get my point. I hope you're doing well..........and practicing.
As a guitarist that has been playing bass for the better part of the last 10 years, i've only recently come to realize, just how much my guitar skills have suffered. I sat down with some friends to play guitar and was just a little more than stunned that my callouses were non-existent and my fingerings were more than just a little sloppy.
Well, it was time to get back in the habit of a practice regimen. I'm now putting in an hour a day, every day to as least seem competent on my instrument of choice. I'm a month in and still going strong. It's been a good reminder for me through this summer, of how much I love playing guitar.
