Marty Friedman (started playing in 1983) is an acclaimed American guitarist, songwriter, and composer known for his shredding and melodic playing style. He is associated with metal, neo-classical and Japanese music. His current label is Prosthetic Records, and some of his key albums are "Scenes" (1992), "True Obsessions" (1996) and "Tokyo Jukebox" (2009). His latest album "Wall of Sound" was released in 2017 and he has won several awards, including the Guitar Player Reader's Poll Award in 1993.
