John Lennon

John Lennon (1940-1980) was an English singer-songwriter and peace activist. He was a co-founder of The Beatles, the most commercially successful band in the history of popular music. Key albums include: The Beatles (1968), Imagine (1971), and Double Fantasy (1980). He won 18 Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
