Prince (1958-2016) was an iconic singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer of funk, pop, R&B, and rock music. He was signed to Warner Bros. Records from 1978-1996 and NPG Records from 1995-2016. Key albums are Purple Rain (1984), 1999 (1982), and Sign o' the Times (1987). His latest album was Hit n Run Phase Two (2015). He won seven Grammy Awards and an Academy Award.
