Catalinbread has introduced the NiCompressor, the newest member of its effects line.
The pedal is inspired by the iconic ’70s Loco Box ‘The Choker’ Compressor, and was the last circuit worked on by the late Nicholas Harris, founder of Catalinbread.

The NiCompressor offers excellent dynamic compression to enliven and fatten up your guitar signal while retaining the top end. In terms of controls, the pedal has a single knob to govern compression, a two-band EQ, a gain knob for extra grit, and an output volume dial.

An illustration of Haystack Rock – a spot off the coast of Oregon that Harris allegedly visited right before his death – is imprinted on the pedal’s chassis as a fitting tribute.

The NiCompressor retails for $249.99, and is available from 23 November 2018. More information at catalinbread.com.
