In the latest episode of My Guitar Story, Arielle discusses her new BMG signature model.

The first non-Red Special model offered by Brian May Guitars, Arielle’s unique offset design features a raised centre-strip, much like a Firebird, and two-tone finish. Here, Arielle details the process behind her new model and the striking design choices on board.

Construction consists of a Korina/Limba body, with a set 24-fret ‘modern radius’ one-piece mahogany neck, and a scale length of 24 inches: the same scale length that’s found on the original Red Special.

Elsewhere you’ll find May’s Tri-Sonic single-coils, as well as the same phase-switching system that’s found on his legendary signature guitar. This system sports six DPDT switches that allow each pickup to be engaged and have its phase reversed independently.

Arielle’s new album ‘Analog Girl In A Digital World‘ is released on May 7. Arielle’s signature guitar is available to pre-order from Brian May Guitars.
