AC/DC have continued uploading archived footage in celebration of Back In Black’s 40th anniversary this year. This time, they’ve shared rare footage of the band performing What Do You Do For Money Honey from 1981.
Filmed at the Nihon Seinenkan theatre in Tokyo, the footage was captured at a gig that was part of the group’s international tour of 1980-81. It was their first global outing with frontman Brian Johnson following the death of Bon Scott in 1980. Watch it below:
Leading up to Back In Black’s anniversary on 25 July, AC/DC have also launched a web documentary series, offering fans a retrospective look into the album’s creation. The first episode aired yesterday (15 July), and comprised archival footage of the band discussing the lyrics and riffs behind You Shook Me All Night Long.
The celebrations continued with the release of a series of collectable merchandise to mark the occasion, which included vinyl and CD reissues of Back In Black, as well as t-shirts, hoodies and even a pint glass.
