Blackstar Amplification has announced a collector’s edition of the popular HT-20R MkII combo guitar amp, now in Surf Green vinyl.

This special version of the HT-20R MkII offers the same utility as the regular HT-20R, sporting two footswitchable channels for clean and overdriven tones, digital reverb, an effects loop and speaker-emulated output with 1×12 and 4×12 options. It also comes loaded with a 1×12” Blackstar-designed speaker.

The HT-20R MkII is powered by a single 12AX7 and two EL84s, and features a power reduction circuit that takes its wattage from 20W to 2W, making bedroom practice a no-brainer. An XLR D.I. out and a USB speaker-emulated output also make Blackstar Amplification’s latest offering both studio- and gig-friendly.

In addition, the Infinity Shape Feature dial contributes to the versatility of the HT-20R. Users can use this proprietary control to alter the tonal tapestry of the amp. Full counter-clockwise evokes a more American sound that’s tighter and more percussive, while going the opposite direction makes the HT-20R sound crunchier and warmer – essentially more British in nature.

The collector’s edition of the Blackstar Amplification HT-20R in Surf Green will also come with a special collectors’ plaque and a two-button footswitch for toggling between the two channels.

Available now for $599.99. Click here for more information.
