Brian May, David Gilmour, Johnny Marr, Paul Weller and Pete Townsend will be donating signed gear to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
These autographed instruments and equipment will help raise money for the trust’s cause during their Christmas charity auction, called The 12 Strummers Strumming.
Some notable pieces include a signature David Gilmour Fender Stratocaster signed by the Pink Floyd guitarist himself, a Vox AC30 signed by Queen’s Brian May and a Gibson Les Paul signed by Johnny Marr.
Last year’s Teenage Cancer Trust Christmas auction saw support from Iron Maiden’s Nicko McBrain, Phil Collins and Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason, and raised a total of £35,000.
Funds raised from this year’s 12 Strummers Strumming auction will go towards supporting Teenage Cancer Trust, the only charity in the UK to provide specialist support for teenagers diagnosed with cancer.
The 12 Strummers Strumming auction begins today and will run until 12 December. Click here for more information.
