Watch: Cort talks us through the new raw-finished KX300 Etched at NAMM 2020

Featuring distinctive etched colour finishes.

NAMM 2020: Cort Guitars has unveiled the KX300 Etched, the latest member of its KX series of guitars, featuring a striking matte finish with contrasting accents.

The KX300 Etched features a mahogany body capped with a sand-blasted swamp ash top. The distinctive grain of the ash top is emphasised through the use of red or gold accents encapsulated in all-new Etched Black Red and Etched Black Gold finishes respectively.

The bolt-on KX300 Etched’s combination of mahogany and swamp ash creates a well-balanced tone, characterised by thick mids and punchy highs. It also features a hard maple neck with a 25.5-inch-scale pau ferro fingerboard. Electronics-wise, the KX300 Etched comes loaded with a pair of EMG RetroActive Super 77 humbuckers, featuring an active preamp designed for high output and articulation.

Other hardware features of the KX300 Etched include a newly designed high-mass hardtail bridge for improved sustain and resonance, as well as a simple control layout of a single volume and tone knob with a three-way pickup selector switch. All hardware options come in black nickel to complement the colour schemes of the KX300 Etched.

The Cort KX300 Etched is now available for $749.99. For more information, click here.
