First it was Fender that dove into a wormhole to release strange hybrid guitars, and now, it seems Cort has followed suit. Its new guitar, the Sunset TC, is part-Telecaster, part-Les Paul, and all-round rock ’n’ roll machine.

The six-string takes a Les Paul’s single-cutaway shape and deploys pickups you’re more likely to spy on a Telecaster. It has a Duncan Designed TE-103, known for its Tele-style twang, at the bridge and a Duncan Designed P90-1 at the neck. Together, they provide enough muscle for all roots-oriented styles of music, according to Cort.

An ash body, maple bolt-on neck, and two distressed finishes—Worn Butter Blonde and Worn White Blonde—are the other highlights of the Sunset TC.

The Sunset TC retails for $599.99. For more information, check out cortguitars.com.
