Cumbria Guitar Show returns for 2017

This year’s Cumbria Guitar Show takes place at the Rheged Visitor Centre, Penrith over a bank holiday weekend – Sunday 27th August 2017. The show is one of the North’s most popular and has been running for over 20 years.

There is a host of artists to see performing at this year’s show including jazz & blues player Adrian Ingram. Guitarist Dean Newton will be running a series of workshops throughout the which will help you to get the most out of your rock and blues playing.

Ken Nicol (Fylde Guitars) will be playing tunes from his new album; Ken has previously toured with The Albion Band and Steeleye Span. The North East’s very own Swing Guitarist Anth Purdy makes his debut at this years Show. Chickenbone John will also take to the stage playing his very own cigar box guitars. All performances take place in the 200-seated Theatre, which is the centrepiece of the Rheged Centre.

With dozens of stands in the three exhibition halls, stacked full of new, used and vintage guitars / accessories to try or buy, a great day out for all guitar enthusiasts.
