Ernie Ball has just dropped a new batch of instrument, microphone, speaker and patch cables. We’ve got the deets here:

Instrument cables

You can pick between braided, coiled and classic cables, which are all durable, tangle-resistant and noise-free.

There are a dozen braided cables, in colorways from neon pink to lustrous gold, that terminate in a right-angled 1/4-inch connector on one end and a straight connector on the other. You don’t have a choice of length, however—they’re only available in 25 feet.

For a more vintage vibe, the 30-foot coiled cables will do the trick. They’re only available in black and white, and have straight 1/4-inch connectors on both ends.

The classic cables are, on the flipside, no-nonsense workhorses. You only need to pick between black and white, and ten- or 20-foot lengths. The shorter cables have two 1/4-inch connectors, while the longer ones have both right-angled and straight connectors.

These instrument cables retail from $19.99 to $39.99 each.

Patch cables

Eight new patch cables are included in the release, and they’re pretty much shorter versions of the classic instrument leads. There are three sizes—six inches, one foot and 1.5 feet—that each come in black and white versions.

And apart from the 1.5-feet models that have right-angled and straight connectors, everything else terminates in right-angled connectors. Crucially, the six-inch models also come in ‘flat’ head versions so you can place your pedals closer to one another.

These patch cables retail from $14.99 to about $23 for a pack of three.

Speaker cables

Both the three- and six-feet versions of these speaker cables are built with 16-gauge conductors for clarity and a PVC jacket exterior for durability. They only come in black and terminate in straight 1/4-inch connectors.

These speaker cables retail from about $16 to $19.50 each.

Microphone cables

These male/female XLR cables are, like the speaker cables, rugged and reliable. And it’s thanks to dual-conductors, multiple shielding materials and the same PVC jacket exterior that appears in all the cables. No color and length choices, we’re afraid—this one only comes in black and 25 feet.

This mic cable retails for $29.99 each.
