NAMM 2020: ESP Guitars unveils Phase II of 2020’s new guitars

Fresh offerings include several new guitars, finishes and features.

NAMM 2020: ESP Guitars has announced the ‘New For 2020’ Phase II as a follow-up to their previous Phase I preview ahead of NAMM 2020.

LTD Deluxe SN-1000HT & SN-1000FR

The LTD Deluxe SN-1000HT and SN-1000FR are the latest additions to the new LTD Deluxe 1000 Series, both of which feature swamp ash bodies, and roasted maple necks and fingerboards. Other features of the two new SN Series guitars include fingerboard scalloping from the 17th fret up, stainless steel frets and a special sand-blasted finish.

In terms of electronics and hardware, the SN-1000HT comes loaded with a Seymour Duncan Sentient/Pegasus pickup set that is splittable with a push-pull control, and a Hipshot fixed bridge. Meanwhile, the SN-1000FR comes in an H/S/S pickup configuration, with two Seymour Duncan Hot Strat single-coils and a Pegasus in the bridge, as well as a Floyd Rose 1000SE bridge with stainless steel screws.

LTD Deluxe M-1000

Another inclusion to the LTD Deluxe line-up comes in the form of the M-1000, a neck-thru-body design with an alder body and a burled poplar top, and an extra-thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck and Macassar ebony fingerboard. The M-1000 features an EMG 57TW/66TW pickup set with push-pull controls on volume and tone for individual coil-splitting.

LTD 200 EC-256, F-200 & H-200

ESP’s Phase II announcement also includes three new budget-friendly guitars by way of the LTD 200 series – the LTD EC-256 (Vintage Natural), LTD-F-200 (Black Satin) and LTD H-200 (Purple See-Thru). Take a look at their specs below:

Lastly, ESP added two new finishes to their Xtone series with the PS-1000 Blue Sparkle and PS-1000 Vintage Black. Both guitars retain their semi-hollow construction and a pair of Seymour Duncan Phat Cat single coils. The new PS-1000 models also come with TonePro locking tune-o-matic bridges and tailpieces, and a set-thru three-piece maple neck with Macassar ebony fingerboard.
