Gibson announces live conversation series with legendary producer Eddie Kramer

His career spans historic rock albums, from Are You Experienced To Led Zeppelin II.

Gibson has announced a new four-part live conversation series with acclaimed engineer Eddie Kramer. Ask Eddie Kramer, Presented By Gibson takes a retrospective look at Kramer’s extensive career, his studio work with Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones, as well as his experiences capturing the monumental Woodstock Festival of 1969 – which Kramer described in an interview with Fender as “three days of drugs and hell”.

Conversations with Kramer will be moderated by music industry veterans Brian Hardgroove (Public Enemy), Brad Tolinski (Author of Play It Loud), and Bob Merlis.

The first episode of Ask Eddie Kramer, Presented by Gibson will air this Thursday (7 May) at 6PM CT on Gibson’s Facebook page, and on GibsonTV. The full program schedule below:

Over the span of his career, Kramer has been accredited with the production of some of rocks most seminal records, including Hendrix’s Are You Experienced and Electric Ladyland, Peter Frampton’s Frampton Comes Alive!, Led Zeppelin’s Houses Of The Holy and Led Zeppelin II, and numerous others.

Kramer will also be the subject in a new film called On The Other Side Of The Glass – a collaboration between Paradise Lost documentary makers Joe Berlinger and Spencer Proffer, and Rolling Stone.
