European guitar show The Guitar Summit has announced that it will take place in-person from 17-19 September in the Rosengarten venue, Mannheim, Germany.

The event features exhibitors big and small, with a focus on guitars, bass guitars, pedals and amplifiers. There will also be performances and workshops on everything from songwriting, playing technique to industry advice.

There will be some COVID-19 related restrictions in place, with organisers having developed a health and safety strategy plan with local authorities and the venue’s staff. A statement accompanying the news that the event will go ahead notes that organisers “are continuously monitoring the development of the pandemic to quickly adapt to changes and new facts.”

Guitar Summit’s 2020 edition was cancelled due to COVID-19, and replaced with a virtual “web camp” instead.

More details about the event itself are yet to be revealed, but ticket presales will begin on 1 June 2021 at guitarsummit.de.
