An all-star lineup of guitarists, including the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Greg Koch and Andy Timmons, has been announced as instructors and performers at the Woodshed Guitar Experience, a three-day guitar camp presented by Andy Wood.

The camp takes place at the Lake Frances Retreats in Crossville, Tennessee and is slated for 27-30 August. While this is an in-person event, organisers were keen to note the extensive precautions they’ve taken due to COVID-19 – most notably, the 150 acre property would be limited to just over 100 attendees.

“Normally, Lake Frances Retreats, the host site for the Woodshed Guitar Experience, can house up to 350 people and can handle events of well over 1,000 attendees,” organisers said on the event’s webpage. “For the Woodshed Guitar Experience, we are going to have a maximum of 125 participants. This will allow all participants as much social distancing as they desire.”

Other guitarists set to teach and perform at the event include Brent Mason and Mark Lettieri. Afternoons at the camp consist artist-led classes and workshops. In the evenings, attendees will be invited to participate in open jam sessions and “artist story time”, where their celebrity coaches discuss their experiences from the music industry. The finale of the Woodshed Guitar Experience is said to be a festival-style jam between all the artists.
