Fender has unveiled two new Stratocaster and Telecaster models, just in time for Black Friday.

The Fender American QMT Stratocaster HSS Pale Moon and QMT Telecaster Pale Moon are named for their pale moon ebony fingerboards and quilt maple veneers. Both instruments have been debuted at Guitar Center.

The Fender American QMT Stratocaster HSS Pale Moon is a hot-rodded version of the iconic Strat and comes loaded with Fender Custom Hot pickups in a HSS configuration. A five-way pickup selector switch allows you to toggle between the two single coils and humbucker pickups, while the two-point synchronised tremolo bridge and locking tuners provide rock-solid stability for whammy dives.

The Fender American QMT Telecaster Pale Moon comes with two Fender Custom Hot pickups and a three-way switch with modern wiring. The vintage-style Tele bridge also comes with three brass saddles to help supply that iconic Tele twang.

In terms of tonewoods, both guitars feature alder bodies, maple necks – featuring a modern C-to-D shape – and the aforementioned ebony fingerboards.

Both the Fender American QMT Stratocaster HSS Pale Moon and the QMT Telecaster Pale Moon are very limited in quantity and come with a hard case.

Available now at Guitar Center and retails for $2,499 each. More information about the Stratocaster here and Telecaster here.
