NAMM 2020: FoxGear has announced the new Anubi series of multi-effects pedals, namely the Anubi Ambient and Modulation. Both are based on the FoxGear Rainbow’s FV-1 digital processor and allow the user to combine different effects.

The Anubi Ambient pedal houses more ambience-related effects such as reverb, delay, shimmer and chorus, while the Modulation pedal offers chorus, phaser, tremolo, Leslie, polyphonic pitch shifter and octave. A super-bright LCD display, a straightforward interface of just three knobs and a footswitch promotes legibility and ease of use, which helps the Anubi stand out from more feature-heavy contemporaries.

Features of the Anubi multi-effects include 16 algorithms, 128 presets, 16 MIDI programmable channels, analog and digital programmable mixes, stereo engine (input and output) and expression pedal capability. The signal path is fully analogue and a Class A buffered bypass with relay prevents signal degradation over long cables.

The Anubi can also be added to an amplifier’s FX loop to function as a master FX unit. This allows it to sit outside your main pedalboard chain to ensure that your modulated signal level remains steady and colour-free.

The FoxGear Anubi Ambient and Modulation are now available for $349 each. Click here for more information.
