Framus releases two William DuVall signature guitars
The Alice in Chains guitarist gets a pair of signature Talismans.

After announcing it in February, Framus has just made the William DuVall signature Talisman available for pre-order before it starts shipping in about two months. The model is available in two versions: as a premium Masterbuilt instrument and a (slightly) lower-spec’ed Teambuilt one.
Both the high-end instruments are almost identical. They’re powered by Seymour Duncan humbuckers—the Alnico II Pro HB at the neck and Custom Custom at the bridge, both coil-split—have mahogany bodies and necks, tigerstripe ebony fretboards, and other high-quality components such as TonePros bridges.

However, only the Masterbuilt Talisman sports an AAA flamed maple top with a quilted maple insert. Not that Teambuilt guitar should be sniffed at; it boasts an AA flamed maple top with a flamed maple insert instead.
Other specs on the guitars lean towards the Gibson end: It has a 24.75-inch scale, a 12-inch fretboard radius, and a pair of tone and volume knobs. The Masterbuilt also has three finishes—Natural Oil, Colored Transparent Satin and High Polish—while you’ll have to settle for a Nirvana Black Transparent High Polish finish for the Teambuilt model.
The Framus Masterbuilt William DuVall Talisman Signature retails for EUR 4,999, while the Framus Teambuilt Artist Series William DuVall Talisman retails for EU 3,058. For more information, check out warwick.de.
