NAMM 2020: Abernethy presented the All Access, an offset guitar series with an extreme cutaway for unprecedented access to all of its fretboard.

We also chatted to founder Justin Abernethy, who operates his own one-man shop in Guadalupe, California. His guitars are all one-off creations, made individually – and sport some light relic’ing, and, occasionally, open headstocks in the style of classical guitars.

We took a look at the guitar at the Abernethy Booth, which had on display a few of Justin’s extremely unique offset designs. These included the Floating Steed – a half-and-half mashup of two very different guitar design worlds, and the Sonic Empress, a slightly more traditional take on the formula, but with the same gold-foil humbuckers as the all-access.

Read our full interview with Justin Abernethy from last year, where we talk to him about his journey to boutique guitar nirvana.
