Aclam has announced a new pedal that ought to send Fab Four fans into a frenzy. Dubbed Dr. Robert, the upcoming pedal is said to be “a perfect replica” of the iconic Vox UL730 amp The Beatles used on Revolver and Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

The new stomper is based on the Normal channel of the amp, featuring controls for gain, volume and mids. Interestingly, the latter has control over both midrange and saturation. There’s also a Mach Schau! circuit that adds even more saturation to your tone, according to Aclam. It features an independent volume control for both rhythm and solo tones.

If the artwork on the pedal looks familiar, that’s because it was done by Klaus Voormann, who also designed the Revolver LP.
