Despite the colour change, the actual guitar is identical in spec to the signature model, which sought to deliver the “Red Special in a parallel universe,” says Brian May Guitars.
“It delivers everything you’d expect from a guitar engineered in collaboration with Brian May — superior quality, pro-spec construction, exceptional playability, and devastating tonal dexterity.”

The guitar dons a 24” scale length, with Indonesian mahogany used for the neck, as well as body that pays homage to the “radical American automotive and electric guitar designs of the 1950s and 1960s.”
Other notable features include a Wilkinson WVP tremolo, thumbwheel locking tuners and three Tri-Sonic Style pickups, which are controlled by the BM Switching System which features six DPDT switches that act as pickup toggles and phase reversal switches.
Speaking about the signature guitar, Arielle admitted that “To understand why this guitar was irresistible to me, you need to hold her in your hands.
“The guitar is light, and smooth and agile. The BMG Arielle sings like a bird.”

The guitar is currently retailing for £845 in the UK, while internationally it is £704.17.
