Chapman Guitars has given us a look at its first run of relic’d run of guitars, previewing its limited-edition Battleworn ML1 Pro on Instagram. Take a look below:

While some relics might wish to tell a story of heavy gigging over the years, Chapman’s Battleworn guitars aim for something slightly different: “The year is 2083. The hypnotoads have been in power for 25 years now. All you have is your 2020 ML1 Modern & a song in your heart. Your guitar has served you well in musical battle for the last 60 years and it bears the scars formed by vanquishing the green hoard.”

Scars from battling whatever ‘hypnotoads’ are notwithstanding, the guitars come with a relic’d nitrocellulose finish, roasted maple necks, two Guitarmory humbuckers – along with all the other outfittings expected from the ML1 Pro, including the signature reversed headstock and infinity inlay on the 12th fret.

The guitars were revealed fully at The Guitar Show, which happened this previous weekend.

The limited guitars each list for £1,499. Find out more at chapmanguitars.co.uk. For more gear news, click here.
