Danelectro unveils new flaked finishes for 60th Anniversary ‘59M NOS+

Danelectro has introduced two new, sparkling finishes for the 60th Anniversary ‘59M NOS+: red and orange Metalflake.
These models had previously been available only in silver and blue. Just like the standard ’59M, the 60th Anniversary edition features a lightweight double-cut masonite body – matched with a maple neck and a pau ferro fingerboard for extra smooth playability.
And of course, the guitar still features a pair of lipstick pickups, which offer passive single-coil tones that sound as vintage as the instrument looks. Clean and jangly, these pickups are great for tackling surf tunes and garage rock.
The pickups are controlled via a three-way switching system and a pair of stacked control knobs, which lets you adjust volume and tone levels for each pickup independently.
