D’Angelico has announced the Deluxe Mini DC, a classic looking semi-hollow with ergonomic dimensions.

According to D’Angelico, the guitar was designed to balance a “semi-hollow construction” with “ergonomic comfort” – which is largely achieved through an undersized maple body. It’s still a full-scale guitar, with a completed scale length of 24.75 inches.

The guitar features a C-shaped, three-piece maple/walnut neck, which gets paired to an ebony fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. There’re also mother of pearl/abalone split block inlays, and a Tusq nut.

Much like its bigger sibling, the Deluxe DC LE, this guitar comes outfitted with a pair of Seymour Duncan Seth Lover A4 pickups, which route to two volume knobs, two coil-splitting push/pull tone knobs and a three-way toggle switch.

Rounding off the guitar are Grover locking tuners, a tune-o-matic bridge and a D’angelico Stairstep tailpiece.

If you’re thinking of picking up a Deluxe Mini DC LE, you’d best hurry; only 50 pieces are available worldwide. The guitar comes in three finishes: Matte Charcoal, Matte Walnut and Matte Surf Green.

Check it out in action below:

The Deluxe Mini DC LE is available for pre-order now at D’Angelico dealers for $1999.99. It ships with a hardshell case.
