Dean revives the Dime Razorback Rust

Dean has reissued the Dime Razorback Rust. The guitar, originally a limited USA Custom model, offers a unique rust graphic design and a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker and a set of other shred-friendly features.

Its construction consists of a bevelled mahogany body and set three-piece mahogany neck, topped with a 14-inch radius rosewood fretboard – complete with a razorblade inlay on the 12th fret and 22 jumbo frets.

Electronics-wise, the new Razorback sports the Seymour Duncan Dimebucker SH13 in the bridge and a Seymour ’59 Model in the neck. The Dimebucker pairs a strong ceramic magnet with blade pole pieces for a high-output, aggressive tone, while the ‘59 model is voiced with scooped mids and tighter bass. The pickups are controlled by a pair of volume controls, a master tone and a three-way switch.

It runs at a 24.75-inch scale length, with a Floyd Rose 1000 series tremolo and locking nut at either end. Machine heads are black 18:1 Grover tuners, and the guitar comes in a Dean hardshell case, and strung with Dimebag Darrell’s signature HI-VOLTAGE DR Strings.
