Summer NAMM 2019: Gamechanger Audio and Jack White’s Third Man Records partner on Plasma Coil pedal

The Plasma Coil is as eccentric, wild and bold as the companies that made it: Latvian brand Gamechanger Audio and Jack White’s Third Man Records.

A fuzzbox by design but sonic destruction machine by nature, the Plasma Coil was one of the standout pedals at Summer NAMM 2019, where it was launched. The core of the stompbox is Gamechanger’s High Voltage Distortion technology, seen in the Plasma Plus pedal. But with several octave circuits, the Coil is a much wilder beast to tame – far more so than its bevy of knobs and switches may suggest.
