Dunable Guitars has announced that it will be raffling off a one-of-a-kind electric model in aid of Roadie Relief. The guitar, a prototype Yeti, is finished with a tribute to Eddie Van Halen, with red-black-white ‘Frankenstrat’-style striping.

Roadie Relief is an ongoing relief fund, supporting out-of-work tour crews throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

Writing about the raffle on Facebook, Sacha Dunable said: “I always wanted to try one of these paint jobs, and with EVH’s recent passing, I was inspired to finally give it a shot. The result isn’t perfect (as you can see in the photos), but it’s cool as hell. There are a ton of reasons why it wouldn’t make sense to sell this and keep the money, so we figured why not use this as an opportunity to help out the people in music (without whom our company would certainly not exist) while they are out of work indefinitely.”

Raffle is live! dunableguitars.bigcartel.com$25/ticket, and you can buy as many tickets as you want. 100% of the money…

The guitar is a 2016 Dunable Yeti that’s been used as a paint tester in the Dunable workshop. There are a few minor differences between it and the current Yeti models, as the brand hadn’t finished deciding how it would construct the bevels.

Tickets to enter the raffle can be bought here, with the draw taking place on 8 November. One entry is $25.
