Epiphone has launched 12 new limited-edition Pro and Lite guitars through selected retailers. These new axes are custom editions of existing models such as the Casino, SG and Les Paul Traditional.

The three models above are now available in stunning finishes. The Casino is offered in a sparkling Sunrise Orange finish, while the SG G-400 Deluxe Pro receives new Translucent Red and Blue finishes that pair nicely with its flame veneer maple top. The Les Paul Traditional Pro-III Plus, on the other hand, is available in Heritage Cherry Sunburst and Desert Burst finishes.

Selected guitars have also received electronic upgrades. The SG-400s, for example, are stocked with Alnico Classic Pro Humbuckers that feature push/pull coil-splitting capabilities. Another model to receive a sonic upgrade is the Les Paul Traditional Pro-III, which is offered with Gibson USA humbuckers and an onboard boost function that can be engaged for an added 15dB of gain.

Last but not least, Epiphone has also relaunched the EJ-160E electro-acoustic, which was most famously played by John Lennon. This timeless classic returns with a solid spruce top and an Epiphone Stacked P-90.

For now, it looks like only Andertons and guitarguitar are stocking the dozen limited-edition models.
