Epiphone has teamed up with Jared James Nichols on a limited-edition signature Les Paul model dubbed “Old Glory”. This black beauty is modelled after a 1955 Les Paul Custom, and features a single Seymour Duncan P-90 pickup in the bridge position.

“Ever since Joe Perry loaned me a 50s Les Paul Custom with a single pickup, I knew I needed one of my own,” Nichols said in a statement about Old Glory. The vintage-leaning axe also features a 50s-style Les Paul Custom mahogany body, a glued-in mahogany set neck and an ebony fingerboard with traditional block inlays.

On the hardware front, Nichols’ signature axe boasts a wrap-around “Lightning” bar bridge as well as Grover Rotomatics machine heads. Aesthetic touches on Old Glory include a “Blues Power”-engraved plate below the bridge, Nichols’ replica signature on the back of the headstock and a sleek Black Aged Gloss finish.

Retails at $699. Ships with an EpiLite case and a signed Certificate of Authenticity. More info at epiphone.com.
