Ernie Ball has updated its accessory offering with a bevy of new products. These include two new string gauges for its Ultra and Burly Slinky lines, new polylock and polyspun straps, new braided cables, and more. Here are the details:

New string gauges

Two categories of Slinky electric guitar strings – Ultra and Burly – will be available in new gauges.

The Ultra Slinky’s now come in a gauge range of 10, 13, 17, 28, 38, 48, while the Burly Slinky’s will be available in a gauge of 11, 14, 18, 30, 42, 52. Like their forebears, both sets of strings are designed for a bright, balanced tone, and feature a steel-plated hex core wrapped around by a nickel-plated steel wrap wire.

Retails at £6.99 each.

New straps

Ernie Ball’s strap catalogue welcomes three new members: the Polylock, Polyspun and Jacquard.

Ernie Ball Polylock strap

The Polylock strap features a soft Neoprene material and patent-pending Polylock ends. The latter is touted to form a secure attachment with strap buttons on both electric and bass guitars.

Ernie Ball Polyspun strap

The Polyspun strap is made from a soft polyester fibre material designed to increase playing comfort. It’s also durable, with machine-stitched leather ends catering for sturdiness.

Ernie Ball Jacquard Straps

Finally, the Jacquard straps feature the brand’s comfortable polypropylene webbing and solid, embroidered leather ends.

The Polylock retails at £40 (two-inch) and £42.50 (three-inch), the Polyspun at £35.49, and the Jacquard at £25.99.

New braided cables

Rounding out the list of new accessories are instrument braided cables, which will be available at lengths of 10 and 18 feet.

These cables are designed with shielding materials – that preserve your signal quality – and dual-conductors touted to deliver crisp tones. Housing the aforementioned materials are colourful braided jacket exteriors, which “provide a tangle-resistant experience”, according to Ernie Ball.

Retails at £17.99 (10ft) and £25.99 (18ft).
