Featuring the same bright and balanced tone that Ernie Ball strings are renowned for, the string manufacturer has now revealed two new offerings in gauge combinations not offered before.

Ernie Ball’s new Ultra Slinkys combine the lighter playability of Regular Slinky sets and the heaver, low-end tone of their Power Slinkys. This, Ernie Ball say, is a perfect combination for lead players who love to bend their strings, without losing any tension or fullness when playing rhythm parts and chords.

Burly Slinkys, on the other hand, are perfect for those that are set on having a heavy set of strings for a hefty low-end, whilst also requiring tension during lead lines and solo sections.

As always with Ernie Ball Slinkys, both sets feature nickel-plated steel wrap wire around a steel plated hex core for their iconic Slinky feel and tone that players have been drawn to for years.

Product features:
• Bright, balanced tone
• Classic Slinky feel
• Wound strings wrapped with nickel plated steel around tin plated high carbon steel hex cores
• Tin plated high carbon steel plain strings
• Ultra Slinky (10, 13, 17, 28, 38, 48)
• Burly Slinky (11, 14, 18, 30, 42, 52)
