Fender’s 2021 accessories include glow-in-the-dark cables, vegan leather straps, pedalboards and more

Fender has unveiled the accessories it will be launching in 2021, which include glow-in-the-dark cables, Vintera Modified pickup sets, vegan leather straps, pedalboards and more.

They follow a slew of product announcements made by the brand today today (8 July), including new artist guitars, effects pedals and its latest Tone Master amplifier.

Player Series Telecaster and Stratocaster necks with block inlays

These maple necks may do the trick for guitarists who prefer their Player Series Telecaster or Stratocaster with a more retro vibe. Each features 22 medium jumbo frets and vintage-style block inlays in black or whit, with either a maple or pau ferro fingerboard.

Each neck is priced at £319/$400/€369.

Vintera Modified pickup sets

Three Vintera Modified pickup sets will be arriving this year, two for Stratocasters and one for Jazzmasters. These vintage-style pickups are said to be voiced for “hotter output and modern tones”, while retaining the core characteristics of their respective guitars. They include a 50s and 60s single-coil set for Stratocasters and a 60s set for Jazzmasters.

Prices are said to range from £90 to £105 ($100 to $120).

Fender Professional pedalboard

Fender has said that it will launch a pedalboard this year that comes in three sizes and with its own bag. While images of the ’board have yet to arrived, it is said to sport a simple and versatile design with a universal mounting bracket hidden underneath to cater for your power supply. The bag will also come with storage pockets and cable ties for pearls and other accessories.

Prices range £130 to £210 ($150 to $230).

Professional Series Glow-In-The-Dark cables

Fender’s Professional Series cables are going glow-in-the-dark with three fluorescent colours – blue, orange and green – to choose from. These are said to have high-quality build components with quiet and durable spiral shielding. Did we mention they glow in the dark?

These come in two lengths: 10 feet and 18.6 feet, priced £18/$35 and £22/$45, respectively.

Fender instrument straps 2021

Rounding off the accessories Fender has planned for 2021 are three eye-catching instrument straps: a Neon edition of Fender’s recognisable monogrammed strap, tie-dye and acid-washed straps in which no two are alike, and handcrafted vegan leather straps.

These will be priced between £19 and £30 ($25 to $40).
