Fender’s Mod Shop now lets you pick a Silverburst finish for alder-bodied Telecasters, Stratocasters, and Jazzmasters.

The finish has cropped up in several notable players’ inventories, from Troy Sanders’ Jaguar Bass to Adam Jones’ 1979 Les Paul, but in general is hard to come by – not offered for any current member of the Gibson range, nor often seen from other brands.

That’s changed thanks to Fender’s Mod Shop, which lets you spec out your own guitar, picking everything from the body wood to the fingerboard radius.

A silverburst Telecaster or Stratocaster will start at $1,699, and a Jazzmaster at $1.799. More information fender.com.
