Fender has announced a new range of Stratocasters, Telecasters and Jazzmasters: The Noventa series.

All of the guitars in the line come loaded with MP-90 P90 pickups: two for the Stratocaster, three for the Jazzmaster and one for the Telecaster. Other common features include 21 medium-jumbo frets and a 9.5-inch radius fretboard atop a maple neck.

All of the Noventa models will be available in May 2021.

Noventa Stratocaster

The Noventa Stratocaster comes with a modern C-shaped neck profile and a hardtail Strat bridge. It comes finished in Daphne Blue, Surf Green, or Crimson Red Transparent, and lists for $1,049.99 / £799.00 / €899.

Noventa Telecaster

The Noventa Telecaster comes with a ’60s C-shaped neck profile, with a small Tele bridge with compensated barrel saddles. Present here is also a minimal take on the standard Telecaster control plate, with a swoop ending it sooner in place of a toggle switch – which would be redundant thanks to the single MP-90 in the bridge position. It comes finished in either Vintage Blonde, Fiesta Red or Two-Color Sunburst, and lists for $949.99 / £759 / €849.

Noventa Jazzmaster

The Noventa Jazzmaster comes with three MP-90 pickups, as well as a Jazzmaster tremolo tailpiece, a master volume and tone and three-way blade switch. Its neck is a soft-V profile, and available finishes include Surf Green, Fiesta Red, and Walnut. It lists for $1,149.99 / £899.00 / €999.

75th Anniversary Models

Fender is also celebrating 75 years since Leo Fender created the company with new editions of the Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazz Bass and Precision Bass. Each of the four new models sees a standard 75th Anniversary model as well as a Commemorative 75th Anniversary model.

The Commemorative editions all come with gold hardware, as well as a two-colour Bourbon Burst finish on an ash body, while the standard editions come with a metallic Diamond Anniversary finish with matching headstocks and chrome hardware. Other differences include Custom Shop pickups in the Commemorative editions rather than Vintera pickups in the standard Anniversary models and molded hardcases for the Commemorative editions rather than premium gigbags for the standard Anniversary models.

All will be available in February 2021.
