Fender has teamed with PAMP to launch a series of collectible sterling silver picks to celebrate its 75th anniversary.

The precious metal collectibles include a Sterling Silver Guitar Pick and a commemorative pick-shaped coin. The latter is legal tender in the Solomon Islands.

This extra heavy gauge Sterling Silver Guitar Pick [above] weighs in at five grams and offers the bright tones often associated with metal picks. It has a fineness of .925, so that should you choose to play with it, you needn’t be too careful about wearing it down. It comes with a transparent case for storage and display.

The second pick-shaped offering is a commemorative SI$2 coin with a special design. The sterling silver coin is limited-edition and has a .999 purity.

The precious metal collectibles are a first for Fender, and mark just the beginning of the brand’s anniversary celebrations this year.

“PAMP was the perfect partner for this endeavour, bringing its world class design, creativity and craftsmanship to the collaboration,” said Dan Heitkemper, Vice President of Licensing & Product at Fender. “This is just the start of our 75th anniversary celebration with PAMP and more 2021 product announcements are coming soon.”

The Sterling Silver Guitar Pick is priced at $59.99 while the pick-shaped coin comes in $45 and $95 versions.
