Gibson has added a trio of Ebony-finished acoustics – a Hummingbird, J-45 and SJ-200 – to its Exclusives Collection. They come after Les Paul, SG and Flying V models in Ebony were added to the line earlier this year.

The guitars are available in limited numbers and come in gloss nitrocellulose finishes. All three also come equipped with pickups from LR Baggs. The Hummingbird and J-45 have an LR Baggs VTC while the SJ-200 has an LR Baggs Anthem.

Hummingbird Standard – Ebony

This square-shouldered classic is built with mahogany in its back and sides and features a Sitka spruce top. Its mahogany neck has a round profile, 20 standard frets and mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays. There’s also a Tusq nut and an LR Baggs VTC active pickup for amplification.

SJ-200 Standard – Ebony

This flat-top pairs the new Ebony finish with Grover Rotomatic tuners in eye-catching gold. Unlike the Hummingbird and J-45, this one uses flame maple for its back and sides and has a round-profiled two-piece maple neck as well. Its 20-fret Indian rosewood fingerboard is decorated with mother-of-pearl graduated crown inlays. Rounding off the guitar is an LR Baggs Anthem system.
