Grez Guitars has made its solidbody debut with Folsom, a single-cut with a hybrid pickup configuration and three classic bridge options.

Unique to this instrument is a H-S pickup configuration made up of a Fralin Tele single-coil (bridge) and a Lollar Firebird humbucker (neck). Put together, these pups are designed to produce a range of “classic workhorse tones”, according to the Californian brand.

With this new model, you also get to pick from three classic bridge options: Tele-style string-through, Mastery with Bigsby B5 and Mastery with a Grez stainless steel trapeze tailpiece. It’s worth noting that the bridge choice affects the overall price slightly.

Folsom also features some choice tonewoods, including a basswood body, Honduran mahogany neck as well as a Macassar ebony fingerboard. The three available finishes – Light Cream, Natural or Pearl Metallic Grey – complement the guitar’s aesthetics nicely.

Prices range from $2,480 to $2,780 depending on bridge type. More info at grezguitars.com.
