Montreal’s Ground Control Audio has announced the Noodles Tone Shaper, a multi-function unit that combines various EQ and preamp functions into a sleek, monochrome enclosure.

The pedal features three channels, each with a corresponding EQ band: bass, middle and treble. Every channel has its own footswitch and gain knob, and when engaged is blended with the dry signal, which is always present.

Ground Control Audio has also given each channel three of its own “frequencies of interest” to be shaped around. These are chosen by a small push button below each channel’s gain knob, and which one is currently active is displayed with three discrete LEDs for each channel.

The pedal has a fully-analogue signal path, with a digitally-controlled signal routing system built around the ARM Cortex-M microcontroller platform.

The Noodles Tone Shaper is available January 2021, listing for $249. Find out more over at groundcontrolaudio.com.
