Gruv Gear has announced the new Kapsule Duo hardcase, a follow up to its previous feature-packed solo Kapsule case.

The Kapsule Duo lets you transport two instruments in a well-protected, humidity-controlled, easy-to-use wheeled case. Gruv Gear also says that the case “preps the serious player for touring again after the global pandemic eases.”

The case fuses design ideas from hard and soft cases, and hence can be transported on its wheels or as a backpack. Its construction consists of an ABS/polycarbonate shell surrounding a thick shock-absorbing layer of polystyrene and a further layer of soft foam. Each instrument is separated by a padded divider panel.

The case also features Gruv Gear’s signature Iso Chamber, suspending and isolating the instrument’s headstock, keeping it safe from impact damage during transport. It also includes multiple storage pockets for amps, pedals, cables and other accessories, plus anything else you need on a trip.

To keep your instruments in ideal condition, The included two-way humidity control packs provided by Boveda absorbs or releases moisture as required, to create and maintain the optimal humidity for the instruments within. Gruv Gear also offers the case with the optional Power Package, featuring the Oktane wireless power bank and cables to keep your devices charged.

Besides a TSA lock, the Kapsule Duo features a Global Recovery Tag powered by HomingPIN. Integrated at over 2,800 airports around the world, this system makes it easier to locate lost baggage. Each Kapsule duo comes with a unique tag number and QR code which, when scanned, will notify the owner of the bag’s location.
