Harley Benton has launched the TE-90FLT Blast, a T-style electric guitar model outfitted with Filter’Tron pickups.
This model features a chambered Sungkai wood body, paired with a bolt-on Canadian maple neck with a modern C profile. Its fingerboard is fashioned out of baked Sungkai wood and has 22 medium frets, as well as a Graph Tech TUSQ nut.
The guitar’s pair of Filter’Tron pickups – Roswell FLT-B humbuckers with alnico magnets to be precise – offer a “no-nonsense, dynamic sound with plenty of personality”, according to Harley Benton.
The pickups are routed to simplified controls, which consist of a master volume, master tone, and a three-way selector switch.
As for the hardware, which is finished in chrome, the TE-90FLT Blast has a string-through bridge and Kluson-style tuning machines.
True to its name, the TE-90FLT Blast comes in an array of sandblasted finishes in several colours that showcase the grain of the body wood. Players seeking a more classic-looking guitar with Filter’Trons can also look to the non-Blast edition of the TE-90FLT, which comes in sunburst and white.

The TE-90FLT is available now for $197. Learn more at Harleybenton.com
