Harley Benton’s affordable line of electric guitars has seen another model addition – the SC-Special, a two-pickup version of its SC-Junior.

As the ‘special’ implies, this guitar comes with two soapbar P90s, in this case two Roswell P90s. These come alongside a three-way pickup selector on the top horn and separate volume and tone controls for each pickup. These are loaded into a mahogany body, which also sports a set mahogany neck, and a 22-fret rosewood fretboard. The neck joint is similar to the one seen on many of Harley Benton’s other single-cut guitars, with a swooping bevel along the heel.

The guitar’s bridge is an intonatable WSC wraparound and completes a 24.75-inch scale length. At the other end of things, there’s a set of Wilkinson Vintage-style tuners.

The guitar lists for a minuscule £216, and is available to order via Thomann.de. For more info head over to harleybenton.com.
