Heather Brown Electronicals has updated the Blessed Mother Overdrive with a number of new features for improved performance.

The hybrid germanium-silicone circuitry has been tweaked to offer increased output and a greater tonal spectrum. The Blessed Mother Overdrive V2 retains the two-band EQ tone control of its predecessor as well as its true-bypass switching.

Making its return on the updated Blessed Mother Overdrive is the Immaculator control, which acts as an adjustable transparency function. Turning it fully clockwise filters in the guitar’s dry signal, allowing the Blessed Mother Overdrive to act as a clean boost while also offering greater texture and clarity.

Another notable addition to the Blessed Mother is its ability to operate with 18V, which gives the pedal a greater amount of headroom. Users can pair this with a clean boost setting to elicit a more dynamic and harmonically saturated tone.

The Heather Brown Electronicals Blessed Mother Overdrive is available now, listing for $220. More information at Godsmom.com.
