Guitar.com Live: Take a tour of Heritage Guitars’ historic 225 Parsons Street factory
Masterbuilder Pete Farmer took Guitar.com Live attendees on a tour of Heritage’s guitar building process.
Guitar.com Live: Masterbuilder Pete Farmer took guitar fans on a behind-the-scenes look of Heritage Guitar’s historic 225 Parsons Street factory; the video tour premiered on the first day of the virtual guitar show.
From cutting body shapes out of wooden blanks to belt-sanding different neck profiles, to finally spraying on a burst finish to complete one of Heritage’s highly-praised electric guitar models, viewers were treated to a close look at the guitar-making process – which has been going on at 225 Parsons for over a century. Watch the whole tour in our video above.
On day two of Guitar.com Live (3 October), Heritage Guitars also unveiled the Custom Core H-150, which kicked off its new Custom Core collection. The guitar promises to offer the “pinnacle of American guitar building” and features a premium curly maple top, an ultra-lightweight mahogany back and comes in a gloss nitro finish with the option of ageing if you prefer your guitars with a ‘worn-in’ look.
