Ibanez has added two guitars to its Artwood acoustic range, both boasting a Gradation finish. The Artwood series is, as the name suggests, focused on classic natural wood finishes, while retaining the comforts that come with a modern electro-acoustic. The two new single-cutaway acoustics in the range, the AW80CE and the AW84CE feature a distinctly natural take on the gradient finish.

The AW80CE comes in ‘Brown Ale’ – a blend across the body of the guitar that slowly transitions from dark to pale wood.

The AW84CE, on the other hand, comes in ‘Vertical Natural Browned Burst,’ with a stripe of paler wood in the centre of the okoume top, showcasing the more prominent grain pattern of the okoume.

Both guitars feature an ovangkol fretboard, bone nut, and an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup, powered by an AEQ-TP2 preamp with an onboard tuner.
