Josh Scott of JHS Pedals has been hinting at a future JHS Show episode, featuring legendary Japanese pedal makers, Susumu Tamura, Hiroaki Ogawa, Fumio Miede, and Toshihiko Torii who all shaped the pedal industry in their own right.

Taking to social media, Scott highlighted the career and legacy of the four pedal makers, creating some of the pedals that have influenced the trajectory of the industry, such as Mieda who, according to Scott, “single-handedly gave Hendrix his iconic Woodstock/Band of Gypsys tone via the Univibe”.

The excitement is clearly being met by the JHS fan base, with commenters expressing their happiness at the potential of a JHS Show episode with these pedal makers.

“Josh this is freakin amazing,” says one fan, theejstephens. “The digimartnet video with Fumio Mieda has been one of my fav guitar nerd videos since I discovered it on YouTube. I can’t wait to watch your interview with him. Thanks for documenting pedal history.”

Considering that Scott made it evident that he not only sat down with the pedal icons, but also is excited to share their stories to the JHS world, it’s likely that we should expect at least one episode of the JHS show about these legendary pedal makers in the near future.

Scott also appears to be hinting at possible collaborations between some of the pedal makers, such as Toshihiko Torii, claiming that we should “expect some fun things soon involving Toshi within the JHS universe”.
