Jackson has introduced six new artist models for 2021, including one with new Jackson artist Brandon Ellis, guitarist for Black Dahlia Murder. Misha Mansoor of Periphery, Christian Andreu of Gojira and Marty Friedman have also received updated signature models for 2021.

This stripped-back metal guitar comes finished in Green Crackle, with a reverse pointed black headstock and green Jackson logo. The sharkfin inlays are also reversed. Construction consists of a through-body graphite-reinforced maple neck, poplar wings and a 12-16-inch radius ebony fretboard topped with 24 jumbo frets.

Electronics remain minimalistic, with only a Seymour Duncan Parallel Axis bridge humbucker and a single volume control The bridge is a Floyd Rose 1000 series double-locking unit. It lists for $1,199.99 / £1,399 / €1,269, and will be available in February 2021.

Pro Series Signature Christian Andreu RRT

This signature Rhoads V for Gojira’s Christian Andreu comes in a natural finish, with a colour-matched pointed headstock and black hardware. Construction consists of a poplar body, a flame maple top and a through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement.

There’s also a 12-16-inch compound radius bound ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and a single Jackson covered high-output humbucking bridge pickup controlled by a single volume control. The bridge is a Jackson tune-o-matic-style with a string-through hardtail. Available February 2021, it lists for $899.99 / £949 / €1,049.

Pro Series Misha Mansoor Juggernaut ET6 and ET7

Misha Mansoor’s Pro Juggernaut models have now received the EverTune treatment, fitted with the premium balanced bridge that offers unparalleled tuning stability. The six-string variant comes with a Chalk Gray finish with a colour-matched reverse Jackson 3×3 AT-1 headstock and black hardware, while the seven-string version comes with a Gulf Blue finish with a colour-matched Jackson 4×3 AT-1 headstock and black hardware. Both sport a basswood body, bolt-on caramelized maple neck with graphite reinforcement, scarf joint and oiled back finish and a 24-fret 20-inch radius caramelized maple fingerboard with rolled edges. Electronics come in the form of uncovered direct mount Jackson MM1 pickups, a five-position pickup blade switch, a single volume control and a single tone control. Available April 2021, the six- and seven-string models list for $1,299.99 / £1,519 / €1,369 and $1,399.99 / £1,469 / €1,639 respectively.

This S-type comes finished in Daphne Blue with a colour-matched licensed Strat headstock, white pickguard, parchment skirt-style control knobs and chrome hardware. It sports a basswood body, a bolt-on caramelized maple neck topped with a 20-inch-radius caramelized maple fingerboard.

Electronics are a Bare Knuckle Ragnarok humbucker in the bridge and two Bare Knuckle Trilogy single coils in the middle and neck positions, controlled by a five-position blade switch, a single volume control and a single tone control. Available in May 2021, it lists for $2,699.99 / £2,749 / €2,479.

Pro Series Signature Marty Friedman MF-1

Marty Friedman, known for his solo work as well as his time in Cacophony and Megadeth, receives this new signature model – a single-cut with a Cracked Purple Mirror finish, as well as three-ply white/abalone/white body binding and all-black hardware.

The guitar pays tribute to classic single-cut specs with a 24.75” scale length, mahogany body and mahogany set-neck, while the ebony fretboard spots a 12-inch radius and 22 jumbo frets.

The two pickups found here are the EMG MF signature humbuckers, with a three-way toggle on the top bout and individual volume and tone controls. It lists for $1,199.99 / £999 / €909 and will be available in February 2021.
