It’s pretty hard to pick when you own thousands of pedals.

The JHS pedal master and CEO Josh Scott was asked what three pedals he would choose if he could only use those for the rest of his life, and the answer was as challenging as you’d expect.

In a video uploaded to Instagram, the pedal connoisseur was asked to grab any three pedals from his extensive collection to take on a hypothetical desert island, and unsurprisingly he only wanted to take JHS pedals.

“Impossible. I would grab a Morning Glory. I’m.. Crap. Uh I’d grad a Panther Cub, and then I need a fuzz. Crap. I would just grab uh… crap. I don’t know! Maybe the Plugin? Or the Bender? Okay I’ll just do this. I hate that they’re all JHS but I just know them really well. Yes. A tone bender, an analogue delay, and a light overdrive. I think I could survive.”

You can watch the chaos unfold below:

Fans in the comments had some other ideas about what pedals they’d bring. One suggested a Strymon TimeLine, Strymon BigSky and a Maxon OD-9, while others applauded JHS’s swift decision making.
