Joyo launches flagship Gem Box III multi-effects processor

Joyo has announced the Gem Box III, a feature-rich multi-effects processor branded as a flagship model.

This device boasts a bevy of tone-shaping options, including 61 preamp modulations, nine effects modules, 157 effect types, 300 preset tones and 26 impulse responses (IR). The latter has support for third-party options, while you can also tap into Joyo’s Studio software to upload new amp models.

Onboard Gem Box III, you’ll find nine buttons that offer quick access to effects, amp and cab options. These buttons are joined by three footswitches: Tuner, Rhythm and Looper, the last of which taps into a looper with up to 52 seconds of playback.

Rounding out the processor’s features is a drum machine which boasts 40 drum patterns and 10 metronome rhythms.
